Our story
Pieva is a slow fashion brand, built by two sisters, after many long conversations, and a lot of stubbornly high standards.
The idea started simply – with the conversation. Again and again we would come back to the same point – how hard it was to find pieces that are genuinely well-made without costing a fortune, or sustainable without being dull or outdated. About fabrics that looked beautiful in a shop and fell apart by winter.
That conversation turned into research, then into sourcing trips, then into years of testing and refining designs until things felt right.
Pieva came out of that process. Slowly, and on purpose.
The name, pieva, comes from the Lithuanian word for meadow. A quiet, open space where simplicity and beauty are linked. It’s this sense of ease, elegance and natural harmony that guides us – in how we design, what we choose to work with, and the pace we follow. Each piece is named after a plants, a small nod to the nature and landscapes that inspire our brand.
Every piece you find here has been designed and curated with care. We are involved in every step: from sourcing fabrics, to shaping the silhouette, until the moment it reaches your wardrobe.
sustainability
We think true sustainability starts with one simple idea: make things that last.
That means being careful about every decision that goes into a garment – not just the fabric, but how it’s made, where it comes from, and what happens to it eventually.
Here’s what that looks like for us:
Natural Materials – We work exclusively with linen, rayon, and cupro. Fabrics that breathe, age well, and can be traced back to where they came from.
Made in Limited Quantities – We avoid overproduction. Therefore, our garments are created in limited quantities and produced again based on demand, helping us reduce excess inventory and unnecessary waste.
Timeless Design – We don’t design for seasons. We design for timeless style. We focus on pieces that can be worn year after year, instead of one season.
Local and Transparent Production – Our garments are made in local atelier based in Lithuania, with whom we share close relationships.
Low Impact Packaging – All orders are shipped in plastic-free, recyclable or compostable packaging – minimal and considered, just like our garments.
Our Fabrics
What something is made of isn't a detail. It's the whole point.
We work with natural fibres – linen, rayon, and cupro – because they’re simply better. Better to wear, better to wash, better for the world they’ll eventually return to. They breathe. They soften over time. They don’t shed microplastics into the water supply every time they go through a machine. They feel better.

Linen fabrics
Linen has been around for thousands of years. It’s strong, lightweight, and naturally breathable.
It’s also known for its creasing – that’s just what linen does, and we think it’s part of the character of it. What it does in return is soften with every wash, last for years, and feel increasingly like yours the longer you wear it.
Rayon
Rayon is made from regenerated wood pulp – which sounds industrial, but the result is anything but. It’s silky, lightweight, and drapes in a way that’s hard to achieve with stiffer materials. It moves when you move. It feels cool against the skin.
We use it in pieces where we want softness and flow – the kind of dress that falls the right way without you having to think about it.
Cupro (coming soon)
Cupro is made from cotton linter – the tiny fibres left over after cotton is harvested, which most of the industry simply discards.
The fabric that results is smooth, breathable, and has a natural sheen that sits somewhere between cotton and silk. It’s fully biodegradable. It feels quietly luxurious without trying to be.
WHY NATURAL FIBRES
Natural fabrics usually are more pleasant to touch, are softer and more breathable. They require fewer chemicals in the production process and therefore are more suitable for allergy sufferers.
Natural fabrics are more durable. Combined with a high quality production process it allows to create garments that maintain their characteristics longer, and helps to reduce the need to buy yet another piece.

CARE OF THE PRODUCTS
We believe that durability of clothing can be extended, if proper care is applied. A good care allows clothes to remain in its best shape for a longer period meaning, you will be able to enjoy the garment for longer. Therefore, we would like to suggest some tips & tricks, based on material type, that can help you to extend the durability of our clothing.
To keep your clothes looking beautiful and lasting for seasons to come:
- Hand wash or machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
- Turn the garment inside out, to prevent fading or damage
- Use a mild, eco-friendly detergent
- Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals
- Reshape and lay flat to dry or hang in the shade – avoid tumble drying
- Iron on medium-high heat with steam; for best results, always iron inside out
- For delicate fabrics we suggest ironing over the light fabric, to prevent gloss or damage
- Store folded or hanging in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to preserve color and fabric integrity
